ABSTRACT

The Pandemic COVID-19 uprising has left its gloomy print on every aspect of human life and the global economy. It's direct impact on the air, water, soil and animals cannot be overlooked at the same time. The death numbers are increasing at an alarming rate, and no signs of control yet, for the new cases. Every big and small city and village is under lockdown. To a great extent we are able to control the air and sound pollution. Everywhere the inhabitants are experiencing a clear sky for the first time in their lives. This pandemic has created a worldwide panic situation at the same time, the improper disposal and unsafe handling of biomedical waste during this COVID-19 is creating a negative consequences for the entire mankind and environment. Now a days we are suffering from so many environmental dilemmas. Lack of proper awareness is the vital cause of all such problems. People are reckless in throwing the medical waste in an open space. They are not following the proper rules of proper waste disposal and are unaware about its hazardous effects. Many kinds of dangerous diseases occur because of untidy surroundings. It is the need of the hour to spread awareness and educate everyone to stop improper disposal and unsafe handling of medical waste.
